MTMail for Students


Before Logging In

If you are a current applicant or an active student* and have not logged into your email yet, you must first 千蠃官网国际网址.

  • When prompted, check the box for FSA / Exchange / PipelineMT.
  • Note: Password changes can take up to 15 minutes.

* Active Students have registered for at least one class in the last year or are registered for the upcoming semester

Students Must Check Their MTMail

All Official University correspondence is being sent to your MTMail account. If you choose to use a different email system, you will need to set up forwarding.

Connecting Mobile Devices


  1. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
  2. Add Account under Accounts > Microsoft Exchange
  3. Enter new email address:
  4. Domain:
  5. Username: FSA username
  6. Password: FSA password
  7. Description: Can name it anything you want
  8. Click Next
  9. Server:
  10. Click Next
  11. Make sure items you want to sync are set to ON.
  12. Click Save
  13. Account is now set up. Click on Exchange Account again and click on Mail Days to Sync. Choose how many days you want to sync to device. Go back and click Done.
  14. Press Home button and Click on Mail icon. Mail should be there or coming in.


  1. Click on Email Application (Email, Messaging, Email App such as Touchdown)
  2. Click Accounts > Menu > Add Exchange Account (or Corporate Sync)
  3. Email address: 
  4. Password: Your FSA password
  5. Check the box "Send email from this account by default" if you want this to be your default email account
  6. Click Next
  7. Click Exchange Account
  8. Enter Domain:
  9. Username: FSA username
  10. Password: FSA Password (should already be filled in.)
  11. Exchange Server:
  12. Ensure the box for "Use secure connection (SSL)" is checked
  13. Do not select "Accept all SSL certificates"
  14. Click Next. Phone will check server settings
  15. Account options: Click "Notify me when email arrives" and "Sync contacts from this account" to customize account settings
  16. Click Next
  17. Give the account a name (optional)
  18. Enter the name you want displayed in outgoing messages
  19. Click Done

Beware of Phishing Emails

  • MTSU will NEVER ask for your account information by email! Do not reply to any email asking for your account information or other personal details.
